Bordeaux Chateau Roques Mauriac 2018

This wine displays a pale gold with white water rim and slightly petillant. On the nose, it’s pronounced with citrus lemon/lime and grapefruit. It’s infused with dried grass, fresh herbs, tomato leaf, capsasicum fresh clean and youthful. On the palate dry high acid, medium plus alcohol, light-body, pronounced flavors, and intensity. Expresses primary fruit of lemon/ lime, grapefruit, herbaceous grass, spicy green peppercorns and slightly honeyed. Medium + finish and delicate texture. This is a very good wine.

It’s fresh and youthful, bright on the palate, intense aromas, typical of a Sauvignon Blanc. Nice balance of fruit and lively acid, long refreshing finish. It delivers a warming sensation from its high alcohol and spicy palate. Drink now has the potential to age another 3-4 years. The acid gives longevity and its expressive fruit aromas linger There’s no oak influence but it’s suggested blending partner can soften it acid and coat the palate with an oily honeyed texture. Sauvignon Blanc is known to produce high acid wines with intense flavors and aromas, but blending it with Semillon and round out the palate and complement each other. Very good Textbook Bordeaux blend prédominant Sauvignon blanc and Semillon blend partner.
