SPRING INTO EPA FOOD AND WINE PAIRING EVENT

At Chef Tech Cooking School, you get nothing short of superb expectations. Chef and owners Teri and Geroge Villanova deliver consummate professional expertise in a hospitable environment. With over 30 years of experience in the culinary field, there’s a class to suit all levels. Even more exciting is walking away with techniques you’ve never heard before.

This spring, Chef Tech hosted an immersive 3 hour evening of wine and food pairings event. Five courses and five wines to complement the progressive dishes prepared by attendees.

I thoughtfully chose all wines to pair with the character of the varietal to the flavor profile of the dish. I explained how miraculous wine changes from standing alone to tasting with food. The approach was open to questions and conversation, through a relaxed and lively atmosphere. While there wasn’t much wine left, attendees were welcome to take home open bottles. Another thing to know, you can come early before the sessions with your own bottle, pop it open, and enjoy it. Who knows, while Chef Teri oversees the cooking process with attendees, you may catch Chef George applying one of his secret techniques!
